About Duv Dance Company
DDC is a dance company that runs weekly dance classes with a focus on fun and diversity. We cater to all ages from 3 years and up that want to explore different dance styles in a relaxed and friendly environment. Join us for a ballet/ Contemporary class or learn how to do tricks in our acrobatics class, bring your sass for our Jazz class. If a class environment does not fit your taste, you can also book a private class with our highly trained dance teacher for expert dance tutoring or competition training and competition choreography.
DDC Director
Introducing... Simoné, DDC's Director and Dance Teacher. Simone’s dance Journey started in (South Africa) at the age of 5 with Ballet, where she first developed a love for dance. Her immense passion for dance, driving her to take on every opportunity in front of her, enabled her to successfully study multiple dance genres over the years.

She began Disco Freestyle and Slow dance in 2012 and achieved Premier Champ status within 2 years. Simone also gained high-level experience and training in Acrobatics, Musical Theatre, Contemporary, Jazz, Lyrical, and Hip Hop, which led to her receiving multiple awards and nominations to represent her country on the international stage. One of Simone’s highlights was when she won first place in 2015 competing in the Musical Theatre category presented by Dance World Masters (in Croatia).

Simone also completed her dance exams with honors in 2021 in Jazz (AJDA), and Hip Hop (RBM), and reached advanced levels in Contemporary (APDA), and Acro(Acrobatic Arts). She started her Dance teaching career in 2019 and is a qualified Acro Teacher as she also recently received her Acrobatic Arts teacher certificate and science of stretching certificate.

DDC’s vision and mission is to be a dance studio that provides dancers with a warm and friendly atmosphere where they are able to express themselves through rhythm, movement and music, allowing them to escape the busyness of our day to day lives. We believe dance is not just twirling to a song or shaking our hips to the beat, but helping us express ourselves when words are insufficient. Dance is the place you go to, to lift both our heart rate and spirit, so our purpose at DDC is to enhance the passion and love for dance within our students, along with inspiring Persistence, Kindness and Respect.
